ABOUT THE CONFERENCE

A Note From The Founder

How Wildest Dreams Came To Be

It was September 2021 when I opened a little boutique in my hometown of Hueytown, Alabama. I absolutely loved meeting the women in my community who came in to shop. But there was one thing that truly surprised me—so many of them spoke negatively about themselves the moment they looked in the mirror. I watched women, young and old, try on clothes and point out every flaw they could find.

One day, after hearing comment after comment, I thought, “I wish I could get all of my customers in one room and tell them how beautiful and wonderfully created the are”. As I glanced around the boutique, my eyes landed on my favorite verse hanging on the wall. A friend had made me a big wooden sign with Ephesians 3:20 on it. When I read it aloud, the words WILDEST DREAMS lit up in my heart and just like that, the Wildest Dreams Women’s Conference was born.

And here’s the truth: I’ve always been a dreamer. Dreaming with God is one of my favorite things in the world. I love watching Him breathe life into ideas, visions, and callings. This conference became a way to invite other women into that same glorious adventure and to believe bigger, expect greater, and step into the dreams God has planted inside them.

Datha Wilson Whitfield

Helping Women Dream with God at the Center

In a world where so many women feel overwhelmed, overlooked, or stuck between who they’ve been and who they long to become, Datha Wilson Whitfield has stepped confidently into her God-given lane with one mission: help women dream again—boldly, faithfully, and without apology.

As a Christian life coach, speaker, author, and founder of the Wildest Dreams Women’s Conference, Datha has become a voice of hope for women who are weary, discouraged, or quietly longing for more. Her message is clear, consistent, and Spirit-led: God still has big plans for you—even in the chaos, the heartbreak, the midlife shift, and the seasons you never expected.

Datha’s passion didn’t come from theory—it was shaped by real life. She has walked through seasons of rebuilding, rediscovery, and returning to God with a deeper level of surrender. She knows what it’s like to feel like giving up. She knows what it’s like to pray bold prayers and watch God answer them one step at a time.

Her story is filled with moments where she could have quit but didn’t. Moments where she wondered what God was doing but kept trusting anyway. And moments where God revived dreams she once thought were long gone.

It’s from this place of authenticity that Datha now encourages others:

You can rise. You can rebuild. You can dream again.

Many women reach their 40s and 50s and quietly wonder:

“Is there still more for me?”

Datha knows and teaches women that their best years aren’t behind them—they’re in them right now.

Through her writing, speaking, workshops, and books–including her latest–"The Messy Marvelous Middle"–she speaks to the realities of midlife with humor, honesty, and spiritual depth. She addresses identity shifts, aging, cultural expectations, and what it means to embrace every season God allows.

Every year on the last Saturday in January in Hueytown, Alabama, women gather for a life-changing experience at Datha’s Wildest Dreams Women’s Conference.

The event features:

    •    Dynamic keynote speakers

    •    Worship that breaks chains

    •    Healing and empowering breakout sessions

Women don’t just leave encouraged—they leave with clarity, practical steps, and renewed faith in what God can do.

Datha is a teacher, a mentor, and an equipper. she gives women the tools to grow spiritually, think differently, and pursue God’s purpose with confidence and grace. Her framework is simple: Faith first. Purpose next. Action always.

Whether she’s speaking at a church Valentine’s dinner, leading a book club, teaching on vision, or praying with a woman who feels stuck, Datha leads with warmth and honesty. She carries wisdom, humor, and a steady confidence in God that encourages others to rise.

One of her favorite reminders is: “You will inspire some and annoy others. Do it anyway.”

And she lives by those words—faithfully, fearlessly, and unapologetically.

Through her conferences, speaking, writing, and ministry work, Datha helps women:

    •    Break limiting beliefs

    •    Reclaim their God-given identity

    •    Build the dreams they once feared

    •    Grow spiritually

    •    Make space for peace, purpose, and God’s presence

Datha Wilson Whitfield is a woman who dwells with God—and she is teaching women everywhere how to do the same.

It’s never too late. You’re never too stuck.

And God is not finished with you yet.

Wildest Dreams Conference is an event held by Datha Whitfield Coaching to help women find their unique giftings, help them tap into the more they were created for, and connect them with other women on the journey.
